Bliss Is.... A Beautiful Summer Day

After the long dark days of winter, where the endless spread of snow stretches on-wards in a never ending swirl of crystalline sparkle, the color-filled days of floral splendor dapple the landscape like sparkly fireworks grabbing the attention of the eye.

Dressed in the perfection of timing, each flower spreads it's wings in the unfurling of petals in hues vying for the attention of birds and bees.  Courting for the continuance to dance in the breeze, shine in the sun, drink from the rain, and when the season is done, return to the earth with the grace of a job well done.

The flowers of cultivated gardens and random wildness amidst the roadside greenery enrich our souls with the knowledge that we are not alone.  For the nameless faces of flora and fauna have a life force, a purpose, and a richness to add to the tapestry of each beautiful day.

As the saying goes.  Stop and smell the roses along the way.

Bliss is the beauty even in the tiniest of flowers on a summer day.
